Hi All, I recently lost all my data due to my system crash. I used “get data back for NTFS” and recovered my data but i was sad when i found out almost all of my recovered files were currepted. I am using windows vista (it sucks). Please suggest me a recovery software that works best and recover my files in its original form. Thank you

Any software for NTFS file should do the job actually “Get data back NTFS” should be great.
Data corruption might be cause majorly by 2 things:
1. Files might have been overwritten in this case there is not much to do unfortunately this might append if you reinstall your system on the same hard drive or your tried to save file on the hard drives you try recovering files from in this case you can try multiple data recovery software and you should have almost the same result (bunch of corrupted files).
2. The corruption comes from a defective hard drive in this case first try to make a bit to bit image of the drives (software like Acronis True Image has this option) linux dd is free and works great to an other hard drive then try recovering your data by pluging the image drive as a slave on an other computer. since you already have “Get Data Back” try this one first then you can try:
-R-Studio ( http://www.r-studio.com/ )
-File scavenger ( http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm )
Please it’s really important that you don’t save recovered data on the same hard drive you are trying to recover.
